Parking
Parking at stations varies from location to location. Some car parks are free, others require you to pay. Remember to leave plenty of time to park and to pay for your parking before catching your train.
- Car park look-up: Visit Great Western Railway’s At the station page (type in your desired station and click ‘Live trains’ to visit that station’s page). Here you will find information on whether your station has a car park, and if so its opening times and capacity.
- Cost: Look up the price to park at your station per day, week or month on the APCOA Connect website. Some car parks are free or owned by local Councils, and therefore won’t appear on this list.
- Alternatives: Consider avoiding the cost and hassle of parking by leaving the car at home. The Traveline journey planner will calculate journey options incorporating buses, trains, ferries and walking – just enter your starting and end postcodes (or town or railway station).
Another option to consider for your journeys is Co Cars, who have hire-by-the-hour cars at railway stations in Exeter, Plymouth, Truro and elsewhere. Find out more.
