Children’s fares

Under five year-olds travel free. Children aged five to 15 get half price tickets.

Those aged 16 and over are classed as adults, but are eligible for a 16-25 railcard.

16 and 17 year-olds are also eligible for a 16-17 Saver, which gives a 50% discount on many rail tickets, including at Peak times and on Season Tickets.
