Collaborating with others on award-winning projects
From cross-promotional leaflets to signage projects to online collaborations, by working together with like-minded organisations we have been able to achieve more and have been recognised with national awards.
These projects complement the work of our core partnership – which brings together the railway, Devon County Council, Cornwall Council, Plymouth City Council and Plymouth University, which hosts the Partnership team. This breadth of core partners makes us well-placed in our work to promote two-way communication between the community and the rail industry.
We also play a role within the national community rail sector. We share best practice both online and at regional and national community rail events, and the manager of the Devon and Cornwall Rail Partnership, Richard Burningham, is currently Chair of the Community Rail Network.
