Social Media and Content Officer

We’re pleased to be recruiting for an exciting new role at the Partnership: Social Media and Content Officer.

The successful candidate will work with us to deliver high quality travel/tourism content. Creating eye-catching and informative blog posts, photos, videos and campaigns, they will inspire even more people to travel on the local rail network.  A big focus will be on promoting travel on the counties’ scenic branch lines.  These serve destinations including St Ives, Looe, the Tamar Valley and North Devon. Another huge opportunity will be to help promote the upcoming reopening of the Dartmoor Line between Okehampton and Exeter.

In this specialist digital marketing role the postholder will help manage the Partnership’s presence on Facebook and Instagram (both @greatscenicrailways), Twitter (@dcrailpart) and YouTube, spanning both organic and paid-for campaigns.  They will also help enhance the Partnership’s pair of websites and by devising and creating attractive new content.
