Wheelchair and pram users now have much improved access to Bugle station thanks to a new path created with the help of the Devon and Cornwall Rail Partnership.
With access previously only possible via steep steps from the road bridge, a volunteer from the Friends of the Atlantic Coast Line was keen for something to be done.
The Partnership sourced the £10,000 needed to build a new level access which included a grant from the Designated Community Rail Development Fund and a bequest from the late John Hobby.
The path at the Great Western Railway (GWR) station was constructed by Network Rail and Cornwall Council assisted with new signage to the station.
