GWR Community Rail Conference 2016
We’re pleased to join our fellow Community Rail Partnerships along with regional and national partners at the annual GWR Community Rail Conference this week.
Hosted in Yeovil by Great Western Railway and the Heart of Wessex Community Rail Partnership, the one-day conference provides the chance to learn from and network with organisations ranging from Rail User Groups to the Department for Transport and Network Rail.
This year’s programme has an emphasis on participation and group sessions. Richard Burningham, manager of the Devon and Cornwall Rail Partnership, is chairing the morning discussion on Marketing and Publications. In the afternoon, the Partnership is running a stall as part of the ‘Marketplace’ section of the day. We look forward to sharing what we do and learning from fellow practitioners across the GWR network.
Our thanks as always go to Great Western Railway for organising what is always a productive and positive event.
