Cornish Mining Heritage project
Using the history of the Luxulyan Valley to increase use of a small branch line station
Luxulyan on the Atlantic Coast Line is ideally located near to a walking route through the Luxulyan Valley which takes in the splendid Treffry Viaduct.
The route goes through the heart of the Cornish Mining World Heritage site and along its path many remnants of mining history can be seen. A leaflet was produced and distributed through the Great Western Railway (GWR) network, as well as on station posters.
