Coco’s carbon reduction challenge

We are helping eight primary schools near the Looe and Tamar Valley lines to act as green travel ambassadors – with inspiration from Coco the Cat!
Using their powers of persuasion, pupils from the schools will be encouraging their teachers, families and friends to change their normal habits and try the train.
The children will log the journeys made and produce a project all about what they have learnt. There will be prizes for the most journeys logged and best project.

The project is part-funded by the Designated Community Rail Development Fund which is backed by the Department for Transport and ACoRP, the Association of Community Rail Partnerships.
