Promoting car-free tourism to the Jurassic Coast
Using online and print marketing to encourage sustainable travel
Through a mini-website, video guides, magazine campaigns and more, we’re working with South Western Railway, East Devon District Council and Purbeck Community Rail Partnership to inspire visitors to explore East Devon and Dorset’s Jurassic Coast by train and onward bus.
The Jurassic By Train website was designed and built in-house by DCRP’s marketing team, providing destination inspiration and clear, simple information about how to visit by train and onward bus.
The website features a series of videos (again created in-house by DCRP) about destinations to visit. These have been released on social media on DCRP’s Great Scenic Railways social media channels. This ‘Best Of’ video gives a taster:
